IOP Program Haverhill & Reading Massachusetts

As you progress through the stages of addiction recovery in MA, it’s critical to have an addiction treatment partner who assists you every step of the way. The Meta Addiction Treatment Intensive Outpatient Program in Massachusetts is the ideal individualized solution for your next recovery phase.

IOP Program in Massachusetts Overview

Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Massachusetts is designed for individuals who have completed our Partial Hospitalization Program in MA or an equivalent outpatient addiction treatment program in MA at another provider and are eager to continue their recovery from drugs and alcohol. We utilize a multidisciplinary approach in our Massachusetts IOP that mirrors our PHP offering but can also accommodate clients arriving from outside Massachusetts addiction treatment programs.

Using a combination of individual and group therapeutic modalities, peer support, and life skills training, our IOP sessions in MA help clients move towards a less structured and more hands-off treatment approach. In turn, clients learn to put their skills into practice as they begin to re-enter daily life outside of addiction treatment in Massachusetts.

What to Expect at IOP in Massachusetts

Clients attend IOP sessions in Massachusetts, Monday through Friday between 9 am and 12:30 pm, with appropriate breaks. Over the course of the program, clients participate in 4 group support sessions, with each session ranging from 45 to 60 minutes. Most Meta Addiction Treatment clients attend sessions for 4 to 6 weeks at our Reading, MA, or our new Haverhill, MA locations.
