META changed my life, hands down. I was so skeptical going into the program, especially with a mental health focus instead of addiction. Now I wish I never had to leave! The staff instantly make you feel like you belong and you’re exactly where you need to be. I built my confidence back up and learned so many skill! The DBT approach was more helpful to me than any 1:1 therapy I had tried before. Building community and support in the group model was also very powerful. If you’re not sure about going, I’m here to say you should give it a try. You won’t regret it! -R!

I was at a near breaking point with my mental health when I found Meta for a mental health IOP program. I've always been hesitant about seeking care with outpatient programs due to seeing friends who said the care made them feel worse. My psychiatric NP was worried because most facilities near me had waitlists of up to a month. I was drowning. Desperate, I reached out to one of their facilities who directed me to Meta, who took my insurance. When they say they can see if your insurance covers the care within an hour, they absolutely mean it. When beginning the intake process the staff was nothing but encouraging. By the end of the day, I already had the intake process started. Beginning the program was fast as I was able to start immediately. Their NP team was so helpful with helping me file for PFML. You can attend in person or join on Zoom. This was such a relief as Meta is an hour and a half away from me. Meta provides the most accessible mental health program I have seen. I also can't say enough about the care team. There's a blend of advice from people who want to see you grow. Groups are the best with Kayla's sharp insight and Liz's gentle guidance. Not only am I able to connect with my therapists, but others who are also seeking support. I'll be taking friendships with me when my time with Meta comes to a close. If you are on the fence about reaching out for professional support, come to Meta. It truly has been a wonderful experience.

I've struggled with my mental health for most of my life and always kept afloat one way or another, but Meta was the biggest turning point for me. I've felt so supported everyday while given an environment I felt safe in to heal. They've given me knowledge and coping skills that I will carry with me throughout my life. I'm very grateful to the Meta team and everyone I've met through them. For the first time since I was a kid I feel like I'm living and not just holding on.

I first started going to Meta to be compliant, because it was strongly recommended by all my loved ones. Eventually, I came to surrender to the practices and curriculums the facility had to offer, plus all the wonderful staff involved. They willingly took me in like a stray puppy, guiding me, helping me along this scary, but thrilling chapter in my life. I of course, had support from my family, friends, AA, and therapy as well. I was a Meta client from October 2024-May/June 2025. To say Meta has changed my life would be an understatement—I was extremely hesitant and resistant at first when I started at the Haverhill, MA location but was met with love, support, and ultimately, an understanding that getting help is okay. The PHP and IOP programs are transformational, and I wouldn’t be here without them. Thank you so much to the staff, clinicians, and case managers who worked relentlessly to help me! I will miss it but would recommend Meta to anyone.

Meta laid the groundwork for my recovery, and I can say it’s changed my life in ways I never expected. The night staff—especially Brooke and Kiana— go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable and heard. They don’t just do their job—they show up with their whole heart. You can feel how much they care, and that kind of compassion truly sticks with you. The support I’ve received from the staff since day one has been consistent & genuine. Many of the staff are in recovery themselves, and that creates a level of understanding and safety that’s incredibly rare. The groups are filled with people who are real, kind, and supportive. We all come from different walks of life, but everyone is here for the same reason—and we lift each other up through it. I’ve made real connections and found sober friendships that continue to motivate me daily. If you’re looking for a space where people care, show up, and walk beside you while you grow—Meta is that place!! I’m so grateful for the continued support on this journey. 😄

I will be forever grateful to everyone at Meta for the invaluable support I received during a very challenging period in my life. Everyone there is kind, caring, and compassionate. Meta offers a wide array of counselors with both lived experience and expert training. They made a difficult journey much more accessible by providing me with all the resources I needed.
