Sam Vairo, MA

Sam Vairo, MA, works as a Primary Therapist at Meta. Sam received a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware and a Master's Degree in Professional Clinical Counseling from La Salle University. She has over seven years of experience in the mental health field, which includes working with individuals with addiction, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, schizophrenia and trauma. She uses evidence-based practice and primarily draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques. Sam’s approach to each individual utilizes value clarification to help them make meaningful changes in their lives to enhance their total well-being. Sam is dedicated to helping people with substance addiction develop their path toward lifelong recovery. In Sam's free time she enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, and connecting with nature.
